Columbus Zoo 2020
Here are some pics from our annual summer trip to the Columbus Zoo. It was another beautiful day to be out and we were blessed with a clear, albeit hot, day.
This visit we brought my wife’s cousin along to tour with us and we all had lots of fun. It was a really long day. We unfortunately weren’t able to hit up our normal after trip spot at Iacono’s in Shawnee Hills because they were having service problems, but we did find some good pizza at George’s. They accommodated us even though they were really only a carry out place. This collection features my favorite big cat photo below of a jaguar peering at me under the foliage. Super stoked to grab that one. Other notes includes using a polarized filter to knock out the glare from certain glass barriers. That worked with middling effect. The cougar photo is one where I used it and in person it was totally washed out with glare to the naked eye. I’m not sure how to get completely around it. We did see the new Tasmanian Devil exhibit but were not able to catch a glimpse of it unfortunately. Maybe next time!
