Visit To TQL

Our first visit to TQL this season to watch an FCC game and it was a blast! I love this stadium and the experience it provides. The first thing I like is that it’s not on the Ohio River. What is the point of putting those two massive stadiums there? Paul Brown/Paycor and Great American just feel marooned with the Ohio River on the north side and I75/Fort Washington Way on the south side. The only parties that really seem to benefit from it are the parking garages. I really wish they’d of spaced those out more in the city so more places could develop and traffic wouldn’t be so bad when games start/end.

TQL just gets its right, and I’m not the only one who thinks that either. Whenever I watch an FCC game online they talk about how great TQL is and the fans are there. Great American is just a cavernous waste. Paul Brown is a taxpayer funded nightmare. TQL gets it right with the fan experience, the electronics, the lighting, the food and drink and the bathrooms. It is easy to get in and out, there’s parking, and there’s plenty of room to build entertainment options around. TQL is reinventing the neighborhood and I am glad to see it.

Finally this team is really good and they were so much fun to watch. What was really great was how much T was into the game. He enjoyed watching their high level of skills and he really started feeling it and yelling at the referees! Special thanks to FCC for the discount tickets for our Independence Soccer Club family. You guys rock!
