Hello,

My name is Joshua Rust. I am currently a Conversion Engineer working in the legal tech industry. My role is to understand the business processes of newly acquired customers, map and understand their database legacy system, and ensure a successful transition to our products. It is a high-profile role with immediate deadlines, requires excellent communications skills, creative problem solving, exceptional attention to detail, organization, and technical problem solving. These are full conversions of data from ERP systems including all history and for all modules (time and billing, accounts payable and receivables, unapplied cash, general ledger, trust balances and various other statistics).

My background includes experience in various accounting and finance roles, including in team leadership roles, budgeting and forecasting, period end close, analysis, and ad-hoc projects/contract modeling. My domain experience includes legal, medical (hospital system), home services (construction/HVAC), and manufacturing.

I have extensive experience in SQL and utilizing Microsoft Excel to model and analyze data. I am proficient in a wide range of ERPs. I am also studying cloud technologies (AWS), Scrum, and Power BI to expand my certification set.

I am interested in Senior/Principal IC or Leadership roles within organizations or at least a strong path to getting to that level. I am currently a remote employee but am open to on-site employment within the Greater Cincinnati region.
